This is an expansion for the CATAN 6th Edition base game and is designed for 3-4 players, ages 12 and up.

It is widely considered one of the best expansions for Catan if you want to make the game deeper and more complex. Instead of just building roads and settlements, you now have to worry about barbarians attacking the island, so you need to train knights to defend your hard work. It adds new commodities and development paths that make every turn feel more important.
